Cheese equipment / Cheese presses
The purpose of pressing is to assist final whey expulsion, to provide texture, to shape the cheese and to provide a rind on cheeses with long ripening periods.
Our stock shows several types of cheese presses. The mostly common type is the vertical pressing unit. Our stock shows also trolley table presses and conveyor presses. A conveyor press is recommended in cases where the time between pre-pressing and final pressing needs to be minimised. The vertical presses are custom-made of stainless steel with pneumatically operated pressing plates.
