Product treatment / Plateheat-exchangers
Plate heat-exchangers are used for heat-treatment to enlarge the shelf life of various dairy products. The product is heated by (mostly) hot water. A certain amount of heat is transferred from the heating medium to the milk so that the temperature of the latter rises and the temperature of the heating medium drops correspondingly.
Van den Heuvel is able to deliver revised A-brand or new plate heat-exchanger. Custom-made pasteurisation units can be offered till a capacity of 25,000 litres per hour.
